Whistleblower

Aligned with Ayala Corporation’s value of integrity in doing its business, we have a Whistleblower Policy to provide a formal mechanism and an avenue to encourage directors, officers, employees, suppliers, business partners, contractors, subcontractors, and other third parties to report any perceived wrongdoing, malpractice or risk involving the Corporation or its employees without fear of any reprisals, harassment, disciplinary action, or victimization.

The reporting must be done in good faith. The whistleblower may send or communicate a report through the following reporting channels:

  • Website outsourced to Punongbayan and Araullo through this link, which allows anonymous reporting;
  • Ayala Corporation’s website;
  • Face-to-face meetings;
  • E-mail to whistleblower@ayala.com;
  • Mail to the Office of the Compliance Officer;
  • Telephone; and
  • Fax.

All reports will be treated in confidence and the identity of the whistleblower will not be disclosed if the whistleblower so prefers, unless the whistleblower will be required to stand as a witness in court.

There are established procedures for the receipt, investigation, and reporting of alleged violations of policies, rules, and regulations. Internal Audit conducts investigations into allegations of unethical practices, discusses the results with the Compliance Officer and Strategic Human Resources Head, and provides the report to the Audit Committee of the Board.
