Ayala group employees are invited to sign up and attend Kickstart Ventures' Raid The Fridge event on September 25, featuring LYDIA.ai, the latest investee company of the Ayala Corporation Technology Innovation Venture (ACTIVE) Fund for 2024.

Speaking at the 134th Raid The Fridge is Christina Cai, co-founder and chief operating officer of LYDIA.ai, a Toronto-based health AI insurance tech ("insurtech") startup.

Formed in 2015 by Cai and Anthony Lee while they were still students at the University of Toronto, LYDIA.ai is focused on personalizing insurance products and accelerating the underwriting processes. It offers health scores and risk predictions to insurers to streamline the insurance-buying process and enhance customer experience. Insurers work with LYDIA.ai to leverage new sources of data for risk predictions, thereby leading to the development of inclusive digital products for health and insurance policies.

As COO of LYDIA.ai, Cai works on strategic alignment and operational discipline. She has been recognized as a leading woman in technology by Deloitte and was named to the C100 Fellows program for Canada's highest-potential entrepreneurs in 2022. Cai also serves on the Forbes Technology Council.

Globe's Kickstart Ventures manages the ACTIVE Fund, the largest venture capital fund from the Philippines and a concrete expression of Ayala’s commitment to new sectors, emerging trends, and innovative businesses that will bring about "a future of transformative solutions that affect the world’s changing needs." Participants of the upcoming Raid The Fridge will learn about LYDIA.ai’s expertise in healthcare big data, data analytics, and health-as-a-service products; understand the strategic relevance of LYDIA.ai to the entire Ayala ecosystem; and discover potential business development use cases.
