“Season 2 has been a testament to the growth momentum of Philippine sailing, with each regatta pushing the competition to new heights. Beyond the thrill of racing, we remain committed to fostering a deeper respect for the seas and ensuring long-term growth of the sport.”

INSPIRE EXCELLENCE · IMAGINE IT BETTER

Making waves for the environment and financial empowerment

After four action-packed regattas in five months, the BPI Private Wealth Signature Yacht Race Series officially closed its second season with a display of intense competition and sportsmanship from 21 teams who battled strong winds and sailed across the waters of Corregidor, Busuanga, Boracay, and Subic. Attracting international sailors, the regatta was supported by jurors from Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and New Zealand.

When it began in 2023, this exclusive racing event sparked a movement to grow the local sailing community, promote sustainable tourism, and raise awareness about marine conservation.

For the second season, the mission was greater: to race for the future of Philippine sailing and to protect the beauty of Philippine seas for generations to come. During the BPI Boracay 200, race participants joined a financial wellness session led by BPI Foundation and a coastal cleanup activity in partnership with WWF-Philippines and the Ocean Racing Club of the Philippines.
