Bank of the Philippine Islands and its subsidiaries have been recently feted by prestigious institutions for their landmark deals, programs in sustainable and inclusive development, and customer campaigns.

For the third consecutive year, International Business Magazine has named BPI as the Best Sustainable Bank in the Philippines for its pioneering initiatives focused on environmental protection, social responsibility, and good governance.

BPI won top awards at the 19th PDS Annual Awards, with BPI Capital bringing home the highest honor, the Cesar E.A. Virata Award for Best Securities House for 2023 under the Investment House category; it was also recognized as one of the Top 5 Corporate Issue Managers/Arrangers. Meanwhile, the bank’s Fixed Income Trading - Local Currency team ranked third among the Top 5 Fixed Income Dealing Participants, and received the Issuer Award, a special citation for the P20.4 Billion BPI Reinforcing Inclusive Support for MSMEs (RISE) Bonds. Finally, and for the tenth time, BPI Securities was given the Depository Award as one of the Top 5 Depository Brokering Participants in 2023.

BPI Capital also figured prominently at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Finance Awards 2024, where it won Best Social Bond for the BPI RISE Bonds; Best Equity Deal for ACEN’s P25B Perpetual Preferred Shares; Best Corporate Bond for SM Prime’s P33B Fixed-Rate Bond; and Best Acquisition Financing for Aboitiz Equity Ventures’ P17.54B Fixed-Rate Bond.

Other awards received this year include the 2024 Change Maker Award for Most Innovative Bank for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises by BPI Direct BanKo; Euromoney Private Banking Awards' “Philippines’ Best for NextGen” and “Philippines’ Best for Family Office Services” by BPI Private Wealth; and a bronze award at Marketing-Interactive’s 11th Annual PR Awards for BPI's Sustainable Awareness Month.
