'NextGen Catalysts of Future Work'

A TED Talks-inspired learning session marked the beginning of the second half of the 2024 Ayala Group Summer Internship Program (AGSIP). More than 90 college and university students embedded in various Ayala companies gathered on July 22 at the Greenbelt 3 Cinemas to listen to Ayala Foundation President Tony Lambino, Ayala Land Head of Strategy and Transformation Carissa Feria-Darre, and AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo as they shared insights on the need to nurture imagination, curiosity, and emotional intelligence in the workplace and beyond.

I am convinced that we need to use our imagination in order to bring about, as we say in AFI, shared prosperity in the Philippines, one thriving community at a time. [...] So what makes imagination so important in bringing about shared prosperity and thriving communities? It lets us imagine it better, imagine the worst, and imagine uncertain paths.

My best advice to you is grow into a leader who leads with empathy. Learn how to care [and] with genuine concern for people. Learn to be an inclusive leader, treat others the right way, and give people the opportunities to shine. Learn to develop teams based on mutual trust, respect, and accountability.
