Vibrant, Thoughtful, Dynamic: Art Fair Philippines 2024 Opens

Now on its 11th year, Art Fair Philippines is once again putting the spotlight on the best in Philippine contemporary art from February 9 to 18, in celebration of National Arts Month.

Co-presented by Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Globe Telecom, this year's art fair sees the participation of more than 50 galleries around Metro Manila and partners from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Exhibits, talks, live performances, and art installations highlight the vibrant art scene in the country and give the public the opportunity to enjoy and support local artists.

Core exhibition days are from February 16 to 18 at The Link carpark in Ayala Center.

There are many activities for the public to enjoy. At Tower One and Exchange Plaza is Derek Tumala's A Warm Orange Coloured Liquid, a solar-powered model of a sun made of metal and recycled paper. Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2 features Isaiah Cacnio's video projection, Prismatic Embrace. These are part of Art Walk by Ayala Land, an immersive art experience while walking in the Makati central business district from One Ayala and Glorietta to Circuit Makati.

And tonight, February 15, Samsung Performing Arts Theater presents Bituin Escalante's special dinner concert, "With Love...Bituin", the first in the JZA Hall Concert Series.
