At the 2024 Philippine Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards, the MDC Group’s Azuela Cove Seawall Project secured the prestigious Infrastructure Category prize and will be one of the Philippines’ representatives at the 2024 American Concrete Institute (ACI) Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards in October. The MDC Group also received a total of 125 Construction Safety Awards in various categories from the Safety Organization of the Philippines (SOPI), in recognition of its commitment to prioritizing safety and health in the workplace. In addition, the group received 12 International Safety Awards from the British Safety Council, which cited projects such as The Residences at Azuela Cove and Avida Towers Riala Tower 5 for exemplary safety practices. MDC was also shortlisted for the prestigious James Tye Award and the Health and Safety Transformation Award.

Finally, MDC ConQrete became the first construction company in the Philippines, and globally, to secure the ISO 22965:2007 certification for achieving the highest standards of quality and safety in construction processes, specifically pertaining to concrete for structures.
