Engaging With Future Global Leaders

Ayala Land, Inc. recently welcomed a team of Harvard Business School students to Makati for a weeklong collaboration under the prestigious FIELD Global Capstone program. As one of only 156 project partners worldwide—alongside Bank of the Philippine Islands—ALI joined a global network spanning 14 cities and countries, collectively hosting more than 900 HBS students. The engagement underscores ALI’s commitment to fostering global learning and innovation through strategic partnerships with top academic institutions.

The FIELD Global Capstone program offers one of the most comprehensive real-world learning experiences in global business education. It challenges students not only to deliver tangible value in an unfamiliar setting but also to develop exceptional contextual intelligence and team effectiveness—hallmarks of future global leaders.

The course is designed to strengthen and develop students’ ability to manage and operate effectively in a variety of business contexts. In the months leading up to their arrival, ALI executives engaged closely with the leadership team through remote collaboration. During their intensive week in Makati, the students pitched bold ideas to ALI’s leadership, conducted in-depth consumer research across the city, and delivered final strategic recommendations to management.
