ALI Senior Project Development Head Mayi Rodriguez, President and CEO Meean Dy, Vice Chairman Cezar “Bong” Consing, and SVP Mariana Zobel de Ayala with SMC President and CEO Ramon Ang and Deputy CFO and Head of Treasury Joseph Pineda and SMC Infrastructure CFO Raoul Romulo at the signing of the integration agreement on November 21
Helping to address the growing need for efficient transportation and connectivity in Metro Manila, Ayala Land has signed an agreement with San Miguel Corporation (SMC) to connect Arca South’s on- and off-ramps into the Skyway system via the upcoming South East Metro Manila Expressway (SEMME) or Skyway Stage 4 project.
SMC Infrastructure is the concessionaire for the 32.66-kilometer Skyway Stage 4 that will connect the Skyway system at Arca South in Taguig City to Batasan Complex in Quezon City. The expressway will provide an alternate route from the southern to the eastern parts of Metro Manila, including Rizal province.
SMC President and CEO Ramon S. Ang, ALI Vice Chairman Cezar P. Consing, and ALI President and CEO Anna Ma. Margarita Dy, signed the integration agreement on November 21.
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with San Miguel Corporation which will allow for the integration of Arca South into the SEMME. This collaboration will improve connectivity, benefiting not only the Arca South community but various stakeholders in Taguig as well.
CEZAR P. CONSING
ALI Vice Chairman
Construction on the entrance and exit ramps will begin in 2024. Upon completion, the integration will enable access from the Skyway to Arca South, Ayala Land’s 74-hectare mixed-use estate that includes a central business district, residential and commercial projects, Ayala Malls Arca South, a football field, and an events area.
It will also benefit commuters and contribute to the overall improvement of transportation in Metro Manila by enhancing connectivity to other major infrastructure projects planned within Arca South. These include the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange (Taguig-ITX), the North-South Commuter Railway, and the Metro Manila Subway Project.
