The Ayala Way Vol. 4 No. 126

An Eco-Tourism Haven in Batulao

Ayala Land has broken ground on its 52nd estate and it will become the next go-to destination for leisure and nature enthusiasts.

A 62-hectare development rising on the former Evercrest Golf Course in Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas, Arillo will offer a unique blend of eco-tourism, sustainable development, and luxurious living. The name is derived from amarillo, Spanish for yellow, a nod to Mt. Batulao’s highest peaks which are bathed in spectacular dawn sunlight in December.

Strategically located between Nasugbu's beaches and the scenic Tagaytay ridge, Arillo will serve as an entry point to Mt. Batulao and will feature hiking trails, educational tours, and horseback riding facilities. Guests can immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the estate’s restaurant district and town center.

Arillo Estate Manager MJ Aragones, AyalaLand Estates Senior Estate Head Mayi Rodriguez, Estates Group Head Robert Lao, and ALI President and CEO Anna Ma. Margarita "Meean" Dy lead the groundbreaking ceremony on December 7
