To all the Ayala Group employees, thank you. You are truly wonderful. Thank you for coming together as one team to make tACbo 2024 truly memorable. [...] I hope you realize that you have done something very special today for some very deserving people.

BONG CONSING
AC President and CEO

Six thousand runners comprising Ayala Group employees, partners, and the public participated in tACbo 2024 on January 14. The benefit run raised a total of P6 million for Ayala Foundation and kicked off Ayala Corporation’s 190th anniversary celebration.

Ayala Board Director Fernando Zobel de Ayala and wife Kit as well as Ayala Group chief executives, including BPI’s TG Limcaoco, ALI’s Meean Dy, iPeople’s Fred Ayala, and AFI’s Tony Lambino, joined the run alongside their senior leaders and employees. The 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, 3 km, and 1 km events—including a dog run—started and finished at Ayala Avenue, taking runners around the Makati Central Business District and as far as Bayani Road in Taguig City.

Runners received a race kit with a special artwork by Ayala Chairman Emeritus Jaime Zobel de Ayala that was also featured on singlets and finisher medals.

During the closing program, Ayala Coop presented a ceremonial check for P1 million to AFI’s management team. Ayala, led by its chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, FZA, president and CEO Bong Consing, chief sustainability and risk officer Jaime Z. Urquijo, and chief HR officer Paco Romero Milán, turned over a check for P5 million. The proceeds from tACbo will go to the foundation’s education programs, including the Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX), represented by students and teachers from its Manila and Batangas campuses.
