An Electrifying Lineup for AC Motors
AC Motors, the official distributor of Kia and BYD in the Philippines, showcased an impressive range of electric vehicles at the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit held on October 19 to 21.
BYD Philippines unveiled the award-winning compact crossover Atto 3 and announced the attractive new pricing for the Dolphin hatchback. Also featured were the much-anticipated mid-size SUV Tang and the groundbreaking C9 bus.
The Kia EV6, the brand’s first dedicated electric vehicle launched by AC Motors in March, was also a standout with its cutting-edge technology and design.
“We see this as a tremendous opportunity to showcase the EV technology to the community. I think it’s also a way for us at the show to align interests between the different players so that we can try and promote the technology in an affordable and accessible way to customers,” said AC Motors President and CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, adding, “We thought this was a great venue to slowly start revealing the pricing in our portfolio. Stay tuned because there’s a lot more announcements coming up.”
