AMove is Coca-Cola’s Partner in Iligan and Ormoc
AMove, the wholly owned subsidiary and the domestic business pillar of AC Logistics, has been selected as the warehouse logistics solutions provider of Coca-Cola Beverages, Inc. for its distribution centers in Tubod, Iligan City, and San Pablo, Ormoc City. The inauguration ceremony, held September 30, marked the beginning of a partnership that is committed to delivering a more reliable logistics solution through an extensive network in the Philippines.
U-Freight Philippines, AC Logistics’ cross border unit, has recently accomplished two outstanding heavy cargo projects, highlighting their expertise, precision, and reliability and reliability in executing highly specialized cargo operations.
U-Freight successfully exported a 1,400-kg helicopter to Italy. The special commodity was loaded into a 40-foot-high cube container using a truck-mounted crane, and was transported from Lapu Lapu City, Cebu, to NAIA domestic airport in Pasay City, Manila, on a chassis truck before its exportation to Genoa, Italy.
Another remarkable achievement of U-Freight was the transfer of 60,000-kg TC-68 tower crane parts from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, to Mandurriao, Iloilo City, through RoRo heavy freight shipping.
U-Freight is also the international freight forwarding lead for the country’s newest transit line, Metro Rail Transit Line 7. The company is responsible for transporting 84 rail cars from South Korea to the MRT-7 depot in the Philippines.
