‘SamPulso’: Ten years, one pulse for AC Health Group

AC Health marks its 10th year with a bold new vision of “transforming health for every Filipino.”

The announcement was made during the launch of “SamPulso,” a special anniversary campaign that unites AC Health’s five core businesses—Healthway Medical Network, Generika Drugstore, St. Joseph Drug, IE Medica, and MedEthix—under an integrated healthcare platform.

“As we celebrate this milestone, it’s time we bring our different business together and start moving as one,” said AC Health Chief Strategy and Investment Officer RJ Recio. Since 2015, AC Health has grown to include more than 880 retail pharmacy branches of Generika Drugstore and St. Joseph Drug, 236 multispecialty and corporate clinics and six hospitals in the Healthway Medical Network, and nearly 1,200 product registrations through IE Medica and MedEthix.

At the heart of the milestone is the company’s refreshed vision and mission, developed through extensive collaboration across its leadership and frontline teams. The company also refreshed its values: Malasakit, Integrity, Quality, and Synergy.

“Our new vision reflects a shift from treating illness to keeping people well,” shared AC Health Chief Health Officer Dr. Beverly Ho. “It means raising the bar for the entire healthcare sector, from preventive services and outcomes transparency to breakthrough technologies and systemic reforms. We want to show what’s possible when care is truly integrated and patient centered.”

Reaching more than 5.1 million Filipinos nationwide, AC Health sets its sights on becoming a $2 billion enterprise by 2035, its 20th year. In the next three years, the company will continue to expand its presence in key cities and scale up its retail pharmaceutical footprint nationwide. Key milestones include growing its ecosystem to 1,150 retail pharmacies, 300 clinics, and 10 hospitals.
