AC Health and ACMobility Partner for Employee Wellness
AC Health and ACMobility have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote holistic employee wellness, with Healthway Cancer Care Hospital (HCCH) as the premier referral partner for AC Mobility employees. The partnership provides comprehensive health and cancer services, including executive checkups, annual physical exams, preventive screenings, treatments, vaccination programs, and medicine reimbursements through Generika MEDPadala. AC Health doctors will also participate in the ACMobility Learning Expo to promote workplace wellness and mental health awareness.
Globe has become the first telco in Southeast Asia to participate in the global effort to remove the cancer stigma in the workplace by signing the Working With Cancer pledge led by Publicis Groupe, a French multinational advertising and public relations firm.
This initiative aligns with Globe's goal to provide comprehensive care and assistance to its employees, ensuring that they always feel secure and valued, as well as its support for SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-Being. By signing the pledge, Globe commits to a five-point action plan to understand and implement policies and programs to support affected employees; raise employee awareness of the commitment; foster workplace conversations about the disease; track progress; and continuously learn and improve support measures.
Said Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu: “Globe is a highly focused entity when it comes to employee welfare. We hope to set an example for the rest of the community in terms of supporting employees in this situation. My hope is that by bringing this issue to the forefront and to public awareness, we’ll be able to raise funding and draw more attention to it."
To ensure the health and well-being of its employees, Globe Chief HR Officer Renato Jiao said the company prioritizes preventive measures, including annual physical examinations, for early detection and preventive care. Globe is also set to launch health education and awareness campaigns while continuously seeking innovative ways to address and complement the medical needs of its workforce.
AC Health joined Globe at the recent pledging ceremony, demonstrating its commitment to providing excellent cancer care to afflicted Globe employees.
