Healthway Medical Network (HMN) is now the partner and preferred institution of the Ayala Center for Excellence in Sports (ACES) to provide healthcare services to athletes who are part of the latter’s Atletang Ayala program.
The partnership has the potential to revolutionize the way athletes approach their careers and well-being. Rooted in AC Health’s commitment to provide “Care Beyond Cure,” HMN will provide Atletang Ayala access to comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services, specialist doctors, and wellness programs such as nutrition consults, mental health and resilience programs, and prehab program in collaboration with other providers.
Access to HMN‘s interconnected ecosystem of care will help athletes address every facet of their health journey. Said national fencer Nathaniel Perez, who belongs to the first cohort of Atletang Ayala introduced in 2022: “I believe that the partnership of ACES and HMN will improve our physical, nutritional, and psychological capacities. This will help us reach our maximum potential and perform well in the international scene. Performing well in competitions can also lead to better world ranking or can help us get a spot in the Olympics. Knowing that we are surrounded by a strong support system, this will improve our level of well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, and make our mind and body healthier.”
HMN and ACES are focused on a deeper understanding of athletes’ individual health and wellness requirements to be the best in their sport. Said Ayala Corporate Resources Group Head Francisco Romero Milán: “We are thrilled that this partnership includes joint research and development initiatives between ACES and HMN, which we hope leads to groundbreaking advancements in sports science.”
