Accessible Healthcare Services Now at Lio

AC Health’s Healthway Medical Network and Ayala Land’s Ten Knots Group have partnered to ensure that Lio Estate in El Nido, Palawan will have convenient and accessible healthcare services.

Beginning October 1, guests and staff of resorts at Lio Estate are now served by Healthway in all their clinic requirements. Healthway will also open a clinic in the first quarter of 2024 that will make its brand of “care beyond cure” available to the communities around ALI’s eco-tourism development.

Services that will be offered at the Healthway Clinic in Lio include primary and specialty consultation, imaging and diagnostic tests, and annual physical and pre-employment exams.

The partnership agreement was signed by AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo, Ayala Land President and CEO Anna Ma. Margarita Dy, Healthway Medical Network President and CEO Jaime Ysmael, Ten Knots Group President Cris Zuluaga, and Hotels and Resorts Group CFO Phearl Villaruel-Raz. They were joined by AC Health and ALI group executives including Healthway Head of Retail Clinics Lorra dela Paz and Head of Corporate Clinic Services Giovanni Inocencio; Healthway Qualimed Group COO Margaret Bengzon; AC Health CFO Ruby Chiong; HR Group Director Wilma Estaura, and Head of Legal Atty. Judy Alice Guillemot; and Lio Tourism Estate Business Development Manager Xerxes Burgos and Assistant Manager Ace Camille Acebedo.

Healthway Medical Network is among the leading healthcare institutions who have committed to support the Clinical Care Associates Upskilling Program to facilitate employment for underboard BS Nursing students and help address the critical shortage of qualified nurses in the country. The program is an initiative of the Private Sector Advisory Council from the Healthcare Sector, Department of Health, Commission on Higher Education, and the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines.
