Ayala Joins Global Working With Cancer Movement
With the Working With Cancer Pledge, Ayala commits to reducing the stigma around cancer in the workplace and providing employees the necessary support.
By joining the Working with Cancer Pledge, we reinforce our dedication to creating a workplace that not only supports, but uplifts, those who are battling cancer, as well as their families and caregivers.
CEZAR P. CONSING
AC President and CEO
This pledge is about solidifying a joint commitment to improving the quality of life of our colleagues, reinforcing the idea that health and work are not mutually exclusive, and building an Ayala community that thrives on health, hope, and compassion.

Committed to employee well-being and inclusive care, Ayala Corporation has taken the Working With Cancer Pledge, a global movement that aims to raise awareness and support for people struggling with cancer in the workplace.
Ayala President and CEO Cezar Consing called the pledge "a testament to our shared values, and an extension of our purpose of building businesses that enable people to thrive."
The company’s cancer support program was introduced by Ayala Chief HR Officer Francisco Romero Milán, who emphasized that Ayala’s commitment to its people is at the core of the organization’s values. “We have designed this program to ensure that every employee—regardless of the health challenges they may face—feels fully supported, valued, and included,” he said.
A wide range of benefits is offered to address the specific needs of those affected by cancer, including enhanced medical coverage, health screening and preventive care, financial assistance, and well-being support, among others. Ayala is also dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion, where employees feel safe and confident in discussing health challenges, including cancer.
The Working With Cancer Pledge was launched in 2023 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In the Philippines, the initiative is championed by AC Health, Publicis Groupe Philippines, and the People Management Association of the Philippines. Aside from parent Ayala, Globe, ACEN, Ayala Land, and ACMobility are among the first companies in the Philippines to take the Working With Cancer Pledge.
