Ayala Group Summer Internship Program Kicks Off
Ninety-three college and university students from all over the country have been welcomed to the 2024 Ayala Group Summer Internship Program (AGSIP), launched by the Talent Network on June 21 at SPACE at One Ayala.
This year’s AGSIP is themed “Preparing the Next Gen Talents.” Over the course of eight weeks, the interns are provided the opportunity to complete real-world missions, be mentored by seasoned professionals, and understand various aspects of their respective Ayala companies. They also gather weekly as a cohort for differentiated experiences and learning sessions with the group’s top leaders on topics such as purpose, sustainability, and innovation.
CEZAR P. CONSING, AC President and CEO
This is an amazing opportunity. I hope you use it to find meaning; to understand how life is like in the corporate world; to understand how companies like ourselves act; to work with some very qualified, exciting, gifted, driven individuals.
You will find that the connections you make here, the people you meet, the lessons you learn, you can take with you for the rest of your life. To all of you incoming summer interns: Enjoy these eight weeks.
AGSIP is more than just an internship. It is about preparing you for the future. It is about helping you become not just professionals but valuable contributors to the society. Experiences and skills you gain here will be assets in any career path you choose. Even if you do not end working with us at Ayala, you will leave with a toolkit of skills and experiences that will make you stand out. This program is our commitment to shaping the future workforce.
FRANCISCO ROMERO MILÁN
AC Chief HR Officer
Everybody here is aligned to a common purpose, which is to build businesses that enable people to thrive, regardless of whichever Ayala company you find yourself in. What I always like to say is: Purpose without action is meaningless. We can have all the best intentions in the world but if we don’t do anything about it, if we don’t work hard enough to achieve what we set out to do, then it is meaningless.
MARK ROBERT UY
AC Corporate Strategy and
Business Development Group Head
We want to build a pipeline of future talents. We also want to build relationships, peers who learn from each other. And we want to also demonstrate our commitment to nation building and sustainable development. That is why here in AGSIP, we will also develop essential human capabilities.
XANDRA FELIZA GALANG
AC Talent Management Head
This is such a unique program for every one of you because this program does not only expose you to the company that you’re in but to the entire Ayala group. [...] I am so excited for what you guys will achieve for the next six to eight weeks.
MHARICAR CASTILLO-REYES
ASTICOM President and CEO
You see what Ayala stands for. It’s not just about making money. It’s about making that space, making your community and your country a better place to live in for your fellowmen. That is what our founders and our leaders stood for.
