Designed With Athletes in Mind

An Athlete’s House that will enhance the training of elite national athletes who are honing their skills for national and international competitions is now open at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub (AVSH) inside Vermosa Estate in Imus, Cavite.

The 30-room accommodation is designed with the Filipino athlete in mind. Rooms fit a family looking for an active getaway or a team in need of a comfortable and convenient home base for their training. It is accessible to the sports facilities at AVSH, which includes a FINA-standard Olympic-size swimming pool with a warm-up pool, an IAAF-certified 400-meter track oval, a multisport open field, an indoor fitness center with a sports science laboratory, and a FIFA-certified football pitch.

Another facility, the Athletics’ Center Dugout, is set to open in 2025. It will have locker rooms for playing teams; dedicated rooms for officials, referees, and media; and an open deck that offers panoramic views of the field and track.

Open to the public and as a pay-per-use facility, AVSH is envisioned to be the premier training ground of athletes and the preferred venue for sports events in the Philippines.

AyalaLand Estates Senior Estates Head Mayi Platero-Rodriguez and Group Head Chris Maglanoc; Imus, Cavite, City Administrator Hertito Monzon; AC Corporate Resources Group Head Paco Romero Milán; and AFI President Tony Lambino officially open the Athlete’s House at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub (AVSH) on July 10.

Groundbreaking was also held for the Athletics’ Center Dugout at the FIFA-certified football field. Set to be completed by 2025, the facility will turn the AVSH grounds into a busy competition venue for both professional and amateur leagues.
