Inspiring Success: AGSIP Culmination Celebrates Ayala Group’s Internship Journey

On 31 August 2023, the Talent Management Network team hosted the culminating activity for the Ayala Group Summer Internship Program, widely known as AGSIP. Despite the inclement weather, the event drew the attendance of 25 interns representing Ayala Foundation, AC Logistics, Globe Telecom, Ayala Land, AC Health, ACEN, and BPI. The event also received support from 19 TalentNet members across the Group. Paulo Lanic from AMAIA Land Corp. energetically hosted, setting the tone for the day, while the interns were warmly greeted by Xandra Galang, the Head of AC Talent Management.

One of the highlights of the event was Atletang Ayala’s Andrea Robles' inspirational talk. Andrea made history as the first Filipino compound archer to secure a gold medal at the Indoor World Series in 2019. Today, she holds the role of an Employee Engagement Specialist at Globe Telecom, having graduated with honors in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University in 2018. Her journey exemplifies the qualities that propelled her to success: unwavering discipline, a robust support system, and an unyielding spirit of grit. Her words resonated with the interns, offering a glimpse into the path to excellence.

The event pivoted as interns took the stage to share their own unique experiences and insights during their internships within the Ayala Group. Each intern's story was a testament to the diversity of opportunities and challenges that the Ayala internship program had offered.

Monette Gaela, the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Air21 Group of Companies and Talent Management Network Adviser, concluded the event. Her words encapsulated the spirit of the day – a celebration of talent, growth, and community.

However, the festivities did not end there. It was followed by a social gathering over sumptuous snacks. It was an opportunity for interns to forge lasting connections and build friendships that would extend beyond the boundaries of their internship experience.
